Nutrition Plan
An eating structure written around your actual circumstances, accounting for work, family and food preferences rather than a generic menu list.
An iLIV nutrition plan is written for one person, not handed over as the same menu list for everyone. It is built after the consultation and, where relevant, after test results. It accounts for your working hours, who cooks in your household, and what you are simply never going to eat.

Who this is for
A nutrition plan at iLIV is written for one person, from test results and an actual routine, not copied from a template. Nutrition plans rarely fail because the nutrition is wrong. They fail because they were written for a life that does not exist.
- Previous plans collapsed because they were written for a life that does not exist
- Shift work, or meal times that are never the same twice
- Someone else buys and cooks for the family at home
- You eat out often and need a way to choose, not a fixed menu
How it runs
Before anything is written, we collect your working and commuting hours, who buys and cooks the food in your home, how often you eat out and where, foods you will genuinely never eat, and any religious or cultural requirements.
- 01Collect your actual circumstances firstWorking and commuting hours, who buys and cooks the food in your home, how often you eat out and where, foods you will genuinely never eat, and any religious or cultural requirements.
- 02Build the plan as a structureThe shape of a meal, how intake is distributed across the day, and how to make choices when you are away from home. A structure travels to a wedding, to a work trip, and to your parents house over the holidays.
- 03Review after four to six weeksThe question is not whether you complied, but which parts fitted your life and which did not. The parts that did not fit get changed.

Testing usually done first
Not every test here is ordered for everyone. The consultation decides which are needed.

Why a structure, not a fixed menu
| Fixed menu | Structure | |
|---|---|---|
| When it works | As long as you follow it | Including when your life changes |
| Work trip | Collapses | Still usable |
| Weddings and family homes | Does not fit | Still usable |
| What you get | A list of meals for each day | Meal shape, distribution across the day, and how to choose when out |
Limits and who this does not suit
A nutrition plan is not treatment for a medical condition. If you have diabetes, kidney disease, or any condition requiring specific medical nutrition therapy, that is managed alongside your doctor and may need referral to a registered dietitian.

Common questions
Do I get a daily menu?
Not as a fixed menu for every day. You get a structure, example meals that fit that structure, and how to choose when eating out. This is more useful over the long run.
Do I have to buy special food or supplements?
Not as a condition. Plans are built from food available in ordinary markets and supermarkets. If supplements are recommended, they are recommended separately with a stated reason, and they are not part of the eating plan.
Can I still eat out?
Yes, and a plan that assumes you will not eat out is not realistic for most people in the Klang Valley. How to choose when you are out is part of what gets written.
Does this plan follow a particular diet?
No. It is built from what you already eat. Daily protein sources and high fibre foods give the base. The healthy-eating principles come from the WHO.
What is the next step?
A nutrition plan is written after results are read. Book a consultation or see the tests usually involved.
Every iLIV guide is written and reviewed under our editorial standards, and each one carries the name of the reviewing doctor together with their MMC registration number.
Treatments on the same pathway
Not all of these suit everyone. The doctor assesses first.
