An assessment that sets your health baseline and tracks its direction, rather than only detecting disease. Includes a detailed doctor consultation, body composition analysis and a broad blood panel.
Most annual health checks are designed to detect disease. This assessment is designed for something different, which is to set your baseline and track the direction it is moving in.
The question is not whether you are ill today. The question is where you stand now, and where that is heading.
Who this assessment is for
- You are generally well but want to know your real position objectively
- You train, and want performance and recovery assessed with numbers
- There is a family history you want to monitor early rather than wait for symptoms
- You want a baseline to compare against next year
Four things this assessment gives you
We do not use the word prevent here. An assessment identifies risk and gives you time. What happens after that depends on action, not on the test.
- Understanding your performance and recovery objectively rather than by feel
- Setting a personal baseline that can be compared later
- Identifying risk factors earlier, so there is time to act
- Tracking change over time instead of guessing
What is included
This assessment uses the same panel as the hormone assessment, but it is read against a different question. The full detail of each test sits in the health screening test and the hormone profile test.
Beyond blood work, the assessment includes a detailed doctor consultation and body composition analysis. The advanced version adds adrenal function markers, growth hormone and several additional screens selected by the doctor based on your history.

Why a baseline matters
One reading only gives a point. The real value appears at the second reading, because direction means more than a single number.
Someone whose inflammatory marker sits at the top of the normal range and climbs every year is in a different position from someone with the same number who is trending down. Without a baseline, the two look identical.
How this differs from a standard health check
A standard check gives you a list of numbers and a normal or abnormal flag. This assessment gives you a doctor consultation that explains what those numbers mean in the context of your symptoms, your history and your goals.
The difference is not the number of tests. The difference is what happens after the results come back. Read what functional medicine is.
The limits of this assessment
This assessment is not a cancer screen and it does not diagnose every condition. Numbers that read normal on the day of testing do not mean nothing can happen later.
It also does not promise a longer life. No test can promise that. What it gives you is better information for the decisions you make.
Next step
Pricing is given on enquiry and at consultation. We do not display prices on this page while advertising approval for the website is being arranged.
For the performance and recovery pathway, see performance and recovery. To understand how a plan is built once results come back, see how your plan is built.

What gets measured first
The consultation decides which of these is ordered. Nothing is booked in advance.
Where the programme can go next
The results decide which of these is relevant.
