Clinical focus of Dr Wani

Dr Wani most often sees changing menstrual cycles, perimenopausal symptoms, and persistent fatigue although basic test results come back normal.

How Dr Wani works

She takes the symptom history first, especially for hormone assessment, because sample timing changes how we read results. She records cycle dates before sampling, so progesterone and FSH land on the correct day. Then she explains results alongside symptoms rather than reading them in isolation.

Qualifications and registration

We list Malaysian Medical Council registration on our doctors page, and you can verify it through the public register at the Malaysian Medical Council. We update full qualification details here as we confirm them.

Content reviewed by Dr Wani

She reviewed the pages carrying her name before we published them. For example, the hormones and midlife pathway. We show the review date beneath each one. For the full process, read our editorial standards.

What happens in a first consultation

The first session focuses on history. When did symptoms start, what have you already tried, what medication and supplements do you take, how do you sleep, and what did previous tests show? We choose tests at the end of that session rather than before it. Once results come back, we schedule a separate reading session, so you get the numbers explained one by one instead of handed over in an envelope.

  • Bring a list of current medication and supplements, with doses
  • Bring previous blood test results if you have them, even from years ago
  • For hormone assessment, bring two months of cycle dates
  • If your panel needs fasting, we send full instructions at booking

Booking

Consultations run at the Damansara Perdana branch, and we schedule fasting blood draws early in the morning. Book a slot and name the doctor you prefer, or contact us first if you have questions.
