Parking is in the City Park car park, the same building as the clinic. Parking is charged, see the signs on site. From Seksyen 7 Shah Alam LRT it is about one kilometre, or the free Smart Selangor SA04 bus.

Our Shah Alam branch is iLIV Lifesciences at I-City, the second branch under the iLIV brand, at A6-1-1, Block A, City Park, I-City, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor. It opens Monday – Saturday, 10:00am – 5:00pm, and closes on Sunday. The branch line is 010-215 4015.

Why we chose I-City for our Shah Alam branch

I-City is easy to reach from Shah Alam, Klang, Setia Alam and Subang. In addition, both the Federal Highway and the NKVE connect the area, and there is plenty of multi-storey parking. So for patients on the western side of the Klang Valley, this branch cuts the journey considerably compared with driving to Petaling Jaya.

This branch runs doctor consultations, blood sample collection for laboratory panels, and body composition measurement. However, some tests need specialist equipment that is not held at every branch, so call us first to confirm the test you need is available here before you travel. Opening hours and booking

The Shah Alam branch opens Monday – Saturday, 10:00am – 5:00pm. Booking is strongly advised, particularly for morning fasting blood draw slots, because early morning slots fill first. Walk-ins are seen when a slot is free, but we cannot guarantee a doctor is available at the time you arrive.

Getting to the I-City branch

The branch sits in Block A, City Park, inside the I-City development, with multi-storey parking in the same grounds. From Damansara Perdana the drive takes roughly twenty-five to thirty-five minutes depending on timing. All our doctors hold registration with the Malaysian Medical Council. Book a slot before you come, or see all our locations.

What to bring to a first visit

If you have earlier blood results, bring them even if they came from another clinic or from a company screening. Older results are useful because they show a direction rather than a single point. Bring a list of the medication and supplements you currently take, with the dose and roughly when each one started. For tests that need fasting, do not eat for eight to ten hours before the appointment time. Plain water is fine throughout.

How results come back

Results are not sent over as a file with no explanation. There is a separate reading session, and a written explanation so you can go back to it later without relying on memory. If a test is repeated months later, we try to use the same laboratory so the two dates can be compared fairly. Where a different laboratory has to be used, that is said during the reading session, because differences in method can explain part of what looks like a change.

What is available at I-City

Beyond consultation, blood draw and body composition measurement, the I-City branch offers recovery and performance modalities that are not available at Damansara Perdana.

Recovery and biohacking

Six modalities are available at this branch: cold plunge, infrared sauna, hydrogen therapy, red light, leg compression, and RIPC. They can be taken singly or combined in one session.

Modalities are chosen after an assessment rather than offered as a fixed package. Some people are not suited to cold plunge or sauna because of a heart or blood pressure condition, and that is checked first. Read physician-led biohacking for how the choices are made.

Fitness and performance

A fitness assessment, teach and go sessions, strength training, personal training, and EMS training run at I-City. Group training can be arranged.

All of it can be arranged alongside exercise prescription and body composition monitoring so that training lines up with the clinical findings. For patients already in a weight programme, the strength training part is not an optional extra, because it is what decides whether the weight coming off is fat or muscle.
