Frequently asked questions about testing
Most blood panels need an eight to twelve hour fast, and you may drink plain water throughout. Some tests do not need fasting, including HbA1c, ApoB and most hormone panels. That said, timing still matters for cortisol and sex hormones. We send full instructions when we confirm your booking, rather than on the day you arrive.
Frequently asked questions about results
A base panel takes three to five working days. A stool panel takes five to seven. Genetic panels take three to four weeks, because samples travel to a specialist laboratory. However, we do not interpret results by message, since the numbers have to sit alongside your clinical history. So we schedule a results reading session separately.
Treatment and eligibility
The doctor decides eligibility for any treatment after consultation and testing, never through an online form. Some medical conditions rule out particular approaches, and we discuss that before anything starts. We also do not publish treatment prices here, because of medical advertising approval requirements in Malaysia. Instead we give prices at booking, or by message before you come in.
Frequently asked questions about cost and payment
We give panel and consultation costs before you come in, so nothing surprises you on the day. If you use a company plan or insurance, tell us early so we prepare invoices in the format your provider requires. We also do not bundle tests into fixed packages. Therefore what you pay reflects the panel we actually chose for your case rather than a standard tier.
Records and privacy
We hold patient records under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. You can request a copy of your results at any time, in a form you can take to another clinic. Furthermore, we do not share records with third parties without your written consent, except where the law requires it.
